Jackie's B&B -- About Us

Jackie and Peter are both graduates of the University of Toronto. They have Honours degrees in Applied Science & Engineering; and are registered Professional Engineers of Ontario.

After more than 10 years working in Engineering and Project Management, Jackie decided that she had finally had enough of the corporate world. With three young children, Jackie wanted to do something that she really likes, while at the same time allowing her the flexibility to care for her kids. Turning her interests like interior decorating, cooking, and meeting new people into a business, Jackie now loves the work she does and has never looked back.

What differentiates Jackie’s B&B from other bed and breakfast properties? With a professional engineering background, Jackie understands what business people need. A quiet house on a cul-de-sac allows you to unwind after a busy day at work. Toogood Pond nature trails provide a great opportunity to see the wild life while on a jog or out for a walk before or after work. To end your day, Main Street Unionville restaurants and pubs are just a short walk away, providing many opportunities to mingle with locals and other out-of-town travellers.

For families, our tire swings hanging from the Canadian Maple tree are a child’s dream come true. With a children’s playground in the backyard, the Crosby Park soccer field, baseball diamonds, and the Parkview playground right at the back, your kids are guaranteed to have fun! fun! fun!

The kitchen at Jackie’s B&B is immaculate with granite counter top and all stainless steel Jenn-Air appliances. You may help yourself to the coffee maker all day, and don’t be surprised when Jackie leaves you her famous homemade cookies every once in a while. Full breakfast is included and served daily at the breakfast bar.
